The acclaimed onscreen pairs Dileep and Kavya Madhavan now got married in real life. They got married at a small function at Vedanta Hotel Kochi attended by friends, relatives and close relatives of the two stars. The functions twinkled with the presence of stars including Mammootty, Siddique, Jayaram, Joemol, Meera Jasmine, Chippy, Menaka, Salim Kumar, KPAC Lalitha, etc Nadirshah, the close friend of Dileep when asked about the secrecy of the function said that it is not conducted secretly but it was arranged quickly, we all came to know it very lately.

Kavya Madhavan was earlier married to Nishal Chandra who is a Gulf NRI and was later separated legally after differences cropped up in their life. After this, news began to appear in media linking Kavya and Dileep and even a section of media reported that Dileep was behind Kavya`s break up with Nishal. Meanwhile things took an ugly turn in Dileep – Manju Warrier`s relationship, they soon filed divorce petition and got legally separated. Dileep and Manju Warrier`s daughter Meenakshi preferred to stay with Dileep after separation. Dileep married Manju Warrier on October 20, 1998. Now Manju Warrier is very much active in films and is even foraying into other languages.
