On Sunday, Manoj Kumar (33) died of Covid-19 at Hyderabad's Gandhi Hospital. The youngster was a crime reporter working for TV5.

'Jabardasth' host and 'Kshanam' actress Anasuya Bharadwaj has expressed her shock over the demise of the promising reporter. "This saddens me. I came across him and many other journalist friends who work so courageously and this is definitely not how I want to hear about them. I am worried for y’all.. please please take care and be very cautious," she said.

In the message that the 'Rangasthalam' actress shared, journalist Revathi says, "Manoj Kumar got married eight months ago. He lost his brother& sister in law in a road accident leaving behind a child. Manoj decided not to have kids and adopted his brother’s son. He is barely 30yrs, a proud journalist with TV5, resident of Madannapet." Manoj's demise was condoled by the Telangana CMO on Sunday evening.
