Anasuya Bharadwaj has only this to say about Sri Reddy. "I feel sorry for her. I wish her all the best," she tells IndiaGlitz in the context of saying that casting couch/women's exploitation is ubiquitous.
"By whatever name you call it, women are exploited everywhere. The focus is more on the film industry because people are always curious about the lives of those in the showbiz. What we do daily is a matter of interest for people. I wouldn't deny casting couch at all. It's important how you (the victim) handle it and when you come out against it. And you shouldn't face it. Speak out against it," she says.
Sri Reddy, however, admittedly faced exploitation for years in the hope that someone will give her acting opportunities. When the victim seeks to come out against casting couch is best left to her/him.
