Anasuya Bharadwaj, who contested as an EC member in the just-concluded MAA elections, seems to doubt that cheating played out to defeat her in the elections. On Sunday, media reports claimed that the 'Jabardasth' anchor had won the election with a huge majority as an EC member. On Monday evening, reports took a U-Turn and claimed that Anasuya was actually defeated.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Kshanam' and 'Rangasthalam' actress sarcastically wondered how the reports could be so diametrically opposite. She even hinted that ballot papers were illegitimately transported from one place to another overnight. Her tweets give the impression that she believes that foul play snatched victory from her.
Meanwhile, she also retweeted Prakash Raj, who said that there is a deeper meaning to him quitting MAA. Anasuya belongs to the Prakash Raj panel.
Anasuya is currently doing Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' and Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi', in the main. She has a crucial role in 'Ranga Marthanda', which is headlined by Prakash Raj.
