Anasuya as arrogant and proud Dakshayani in 'Pushpa'

Anasuya Bharadwaj's first look from 'Pushpa' was unveiled today. The actress is playing a well-round role in this Sukumar directorial. Starring Allu Arjun in the lead, the film has her as Dakshayani, a rustic woman.
"She is arrogance and pride personified! (sic)," Mythri Movie Makers today tweeted, introducing the 'Jabardasth' host. Anasuya is also part of 'Flashback', a Telugu-Tamil bilingual headlined by Prabhu Deva. She started dubbing for the role earlier this week. Anasuya was seen in this year's OTT release 'Thank You, Brother'.
The artist, sharing the poster, sounded very happy to have played the character in the big-ticket release. The film, starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, will hit the screens on December 17.
Besides her, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh and Ajay Ghosh have other key roles in this Devi Sri Prasad musical. The action her has production design by the Ramakrishna-Monika duo. Cinematography is by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek. 'Pushpa' has wrapped up its talkie part nearly 100%.
