The long time BJP member of Parliament Ananthkumar Hegde has been inducted to the ministry of central government by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He is one more from the Karnataka MPs in union cabinet. Ananthkumar and Sadananda Gowda is two other minister in the union cabinet.
Meanwhile Ananthkumar Hegde is five times elected MP from Uttar Kannada gets the Skill Development ministry.
A staunch Hindutwa follower Ananthkumar Hegde has two charges on him. Beating a doctor and an official in Sirsi Hospital and a case filed by police on his remarks on Islam speech are still pending. The two cases have not yet been cleared him.
Daring in nature Ananthkumar Hegde for allegations on communal riots and hoisting flag at Idgah Maidan in Hubli – he got cleared from such charges in 1993 and 1994.
Ananthkumar Hegde entered Parliament at the age of 28 defeating heavy weight politician Margaret Alva. An RSS follower Ananhkumar Hegde was in Parliamentary committees on finance, home affairs, human resources development, commerce, agriculture and external affairs in his five times elected MP from Uttar Kannada district.
