Actor Anandraj has advised the family members of Captain Vijayakanth, who is getting treatment for his health issues, to not use his name for political benefits or make a business out of it. The actor has been a part of many movies where Vijayakanth had played the hero and he had played the antagonist.

Speaking during a media interaction, Anandraj said that Vijayakanth is like a brother to him, and after getting to know of his health condition, though I was not able to meet him in person, I am getting regular updates on his health status. He said that Vijayakanth has worked a lot for his family, and now they must give him rest, and they must not use his name to publicize his party during his ill health.

Anandraj further added that Vijayakanth's wife Premalatha is a good speaker, and that she can herself manage the party, and said he will reveal a lot of things Jayalalitha had told about Vijayakanth to him, during the right time. Anandraj also wished Edappadi Palanisamy and O.Panneerselvam for the upcoming elections.
