For director Gandhi Krishna, ‘Anandha Thandavam’ is more than a project that was so long in the making. “AT is actually my first dream in the celluloid world. I wanted to become a director only after reading this novel,” says the director, whose film hits the screens today.

'Anandha Thandavam' is an adaptation of writer Sujatha’s ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’, and features new comer Siddharth in the lead along with Tamannah. Rukimini of 'Bommalatam' fame also does an important role.

“I had written the screenplay for this film 10 years ago. I wanted to do it as my first film which, however, didn’t happen. But this is my dream project and I’m happy seeing how it has come out,” said the director. Tamannah said it was one of her best characters ever done and she enjoyed the way the characters were clearly defined. The film is being produced by Aascar Films.
