Famous Anchor and VJ Ananda Kannan who is known for his unique style in anchoring has passed away yesterday after being treated for Cancer. Ananda Kannan was the favorite of most 90s and 2000s kids.

Ananda Kannan started his career in Singapore Vasantham TV as an actor and Host. He then moved to Chennai to join Sun Music and won many hearts with his unique talent. He still remains one of the favourite and most successful hosts of his time.

Though he went on to act in few films in Kollywood it was not released to the audience. He was hosting 'Savaal Singapore' show in Mediacorp vasantham in Singapore which is a Tamil version of we are Singaporeans.

It is reported that the actor-VJ Anandha Kannan died last night due to cancer. This 48-year old's sudden demise has come as a shock to many in the Tamil film industry. Condolence messages are pouring in from his friends well-wishers from small screen and silver screens. Sharing this shocking news, Director Venkat Prabhu tweeted 'A great friend a great human is no more!! #RIPanandakannan my deepest condolences". Singer Ramya NSK also posted a picture and penned an emotional note to deliver her final goodbye to this real talent.
