One of the hot favourite movies this Sankranti, 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' a socio fantasy movie directed by K Raghavendar Rao's son Prakash Kovelamudi is a must watch.The film marks the entry of Walt Disney into Telugu market. AOD's trailers gave goose bumps to the viewers and Mohan Babu's daughter Laxmi Manchu stole the show in the first look.
The story of Angarajyam a tear drop Island that is ruled by evil queen Irendri and the only hope for the people is in the healing powers of nine year old girl Moksha. It is to be seen if swordsman Yodha keeps Moksha safe and the relationship between gypsy girl Priya and Irendri.
Laxmi Manchu plays 'Irendri' and her look, dialogue modulation, charecterisation has evoked tremendous response from the film industry. Siddharth who usually plays loverboy is seen as warrior 'Yodha' and Shruti Haasan debuts in Telugu with this film as gypsy girl 'Priya'. Since it is a socio fantasy, the film has more than 45 minutes of visual effects that promises to be of international standard.Music composed by M M Keeravani though is average, 'Ninnu Choodani' sung by Anuj is foot tapping track.
Releasing this Sankranti, AOD is sure to bring in family audience and more so kids as there is visual effects and 'magical' elements in the film. Though critics are apprehensive about Siddharth's look as 'Dheerudu' since he has never played such a role before, the movie makers claim this flick to be an action fantasy potraying heroism that is unpreecedented in Indian cinema.It is also after a long time, Telugu cinema is witnessing a woman as villain.

'Anaganaga Oo Dheerudu' as trade pundits say will either be a blockbuster or will sink at the box office depending on how the story is narrated. Nonetheless, it is a one of its kind movie, we can't wait to watch.
