Rajendra Prasad is happy that he had played an unforgettable character in Mogudu. Saying that it was a well-etched character that he will always look back with pride, he praised Krishna Vamsi and thanked the producer (Bujji) for giving him the opportunity to act in Mogudu.

At the audio release function of Mogudu, he said that sharing screen space with Gopichand was quite interesting. The veteran actor, who had done countless comedy roles in the past, said that he was apprehensive before accepting the role. He is, in retrospect, thankful for the way it has turned out.

Saying that it is rare that an actor gets to essay such roles, he insinuated that the role was not only meaningful, but also performance-oriented.
