You really do not know when some of the skills and naughty tricks learned and practiced during the growing up teenage years turn up later on to your advantage.

Imran Khan became a great beneficiary of having mastered such a skill during his boarding school days.

For a scene for the forthcoming thriller 'Kidnap' which is Imran's second film and one in which he plays a role with negative shades, he had to use a knife and poke it between Minissha Lamba's fingers.

For the long shots, the director Sanjay Gadhvi allowed a fake knife to be used, but when it came to close-ups a real knife was introduced as the film maker was adamant on perfection in visuals.

There started the ordeal for Minissha as she became extremely terrified of getting hurt.

Imran pacified her and said that if he does it fast continuously with even a real knife, nothing will happen to her as he is a master in doing it.

His words proved to be true and he did the shots easily and perfectly surprising everyone and to the great relief of the young leading lady.

Imran's hand still has the marks caused due to constant practice to master this dangerous knife trick.
