Director Charan is a busy man in Kollywood today. He is not just producing his Aaru but also busy directing Idhaya Thirudan starring Jeyam Ravi for K Balachander's Kavithalaya.

Asked about his Idhaya Thirudan, Charan says 'It's the story of how opposites attract. If he wants to take a particular route, she favors another one.

When two such opposites get attracted to each other, how will their love progress? That's what I'm trying to deal in this movie, he says.

Asked about the role played by Jeyam Ravi, Charan says "he plays an educated youngster running his own business.

He's what you'd call a good looking but rough guy. Heroine Kamna is a mix of innocence and mischief. She's an engineering student."

On the whole, the whole film is an interesting mix, he says.
