Brit beauty Amy Jackson is a household name of Tamils. Having debuted with director Vijay's 'Madarasapattinam' six years ago, she has now become a top league star having paired up with three top heroes back to back.

Earlier this year she acted as one of the heroines in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' and she is currently shooting for '2.0' with none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. This is also her second film with master director Shankar after 'I' in which she played the female lead with Vikram.

Now we learn that the talented actress has grabbed a prominent role in another promising Tamil film. Sources reveal that Amy is likely to play an important supporting character in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed blockbuster Bollywood flick 'Queen'.

While Tamannah will be reprising Kangana Ranaut's lead role. Amy will be acting in the role played by Lisa Hayden in the remake to be directed by Revathy. This is the character which helps the heroine in her foreign trip.

Amy will definitely get a big boost as a performer if she plays this role of a free spirited Indian woman of foreign descent.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation.
