VTV flavor in 'Vijay 59'

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Amy Jackson are presently shooting for 'Vijay 59' the yet to be titled film directed by Atlee in Chennai.

Amy had joined the shoot just a few weeks back and the film's another heroine Samantha has already completed shooting for her part in the film. Amy's character reportedly comes in the flashback portions of the film.

Now a reliable source close to people having access to the 'Vijay 59' shooting spot has revealed that the 'I' girl plays the role of a Malayalee girl in the film.

The Tamil film that presented a Malayalam girl heroine character in the recent years is the Gautham Menon directed 'Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya' and Trisha played the role which was considered as one of the towering performances of her career. Interestingly, Amy played the heroine role in the Hindi remake of the film and she played a Goa native girl in the film.

The shooting of 'Vijay 59' is 70% complete. The film produced by Kalaipuli.S .Thanu is expected to hit the screens in the first quarter of 2016.
