Amy Jackson who has acted with Vikram in 'I' and expected to pair up with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Enthiran 2' has now joined the sets of 'Vijay 59' in Chennai for her firs film with a top most star like Ilayathapathy Vijay.

The yet to be titled film directed by Atlee has two heroines. Samantha has completed her portions of the film and the other heroine Amy has started shooting for her portions in the film from today in Chennai. She has confirmed the news on her microblogging site.

Vijay reportedly plays the role of a cop in the film and Amy comes in the flash back portions of the film if sources are to be beleived.

Apart from the lead actors, the film's star cast includes K.S.Ravikumar. Radhika Sarathkumar, Director J.Mahendran, 'Naan Kadavul Rajendran' and others. G.V.Prakash is scoring music for this film and this is his 50th film as a composer. Kalaipuli.S.Thanu. The title and first look of the film are expected to be revealed on Deepavali festival day.
