Group supports Simbu and burns Amy Jackson effigy

One Veeralakshmi , leader of a fringe group Tamizhar Munetra Padai along with fifty members staged an agitation in front of the Nadigar Sangam premises, burning Amy Jackson's effigy for supporting the permanent ban on the Jallikattu.

The group suddenly switched to raising slogans in support of Simbu over the Beep Song' issue and police have arrested twenty two persons in connection to the agitation.
