In the wake of the arrest of actor Dileep, every member of the Malayalam film fraternity seems to distance themselves from the actor. An emergency meeting of the executive committee of Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) was held at actor Mammootty's residence in Kochi.

After the meeting, Mammootty officially announced that AMMA decided to suspend Dileep from its primary membership. Mammootty also reassured that their full support to the survivor. Prithviraj, Asif Ali, Kalabhavan Shajon, Ramya Nambeesan, Devan, Edavela Babu and few others attended the meeting.

In the meantime, FEFKA and Dileep's new association Film Exhibitors' United Organisation Of Kerala (FEOK) have also suspended the actor's primary membership in their organizations. A general body meet of the AMMA Association is likely to be held tomorrow to hold detailed discussions on the sensational incident.
