Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is one the most celebrated filmmaker working today. Apart from his recently released film 'Toofan', he is in news regarding his recently launched book. Rakeysh's debut work as an author was released on 27th of July by actress Sonam Kapoor. About two decades ago, Mehra worked alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the film titled 'Aks'.

Although the film isn't known to have a prominent place in Amitabh Bachchan's filmography, it had an element which transitioned Big B for years to come. To make the character more realistic and detached from the superstar image of Amitabh Bachchan, Rakeysh suggest that the actor should sport a French beard.

The look worked for the film and Amitabh Bachchan digged it so much that he decided to permanently keep a French beard which he haven't given up yet. Sharing this instance on Instagram, Mehra wrote, "Can a debut director ask for a more legendary initiation onto the big screen? Thank you @amitabhbachchan."
