Few months back it was announced that Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be making his Tamil debut with the SJ Suryah starrer Uyarndha Manithan, and Superstar Rajnikanth had also welcomed the arrival of Big B to Tamil films.

Directed by Tamilvannan who had earlier directed Kalvanin Kadhali with SJ Suryah and Nayanthara and Machakkaran with Jeevan, Uyarndha Manithan will be made simultaneously in Hindi as well, and the latest update on the project is that, Amitabh will shoot for the project from March.

Reportedly, the legend will complete his portions in a non-stop 40 day schedule. While this is Big B's Tamil debut, he had already debuted in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada with cameos in movies like Manam, Kandahar and Amrithadare. It has also been speculated that he'll be a part of Maniratnam's next.
