Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who met with an almost nearly fatal accident on the sets of "Coolie" in 1982, has thanked his fans for praying for his good health and wishing him Happy Second Birthday on Tuesday.
The August 2 date is important in Amitabh's life as it was a rebirth of sorts for him after the accident. "Some years you do not wish to remember. Thank you to them that prayed for me," Amitabh, whose actual birthday falls in October, tweeted.

The 73-year-old also retweeted posts of his fans, who wished him love, happiness and good health. The "Don" star wrote: "To all that wish me today, may I just say I am overwhelmed by your prayers and concern and love. Indebted."
His son Abhishek Bachchan also posted a photograph of his father on Instagram along with a caption that read: "I can't even remember how many times I would drape a bedsheet in the same way and re-enact this sequence from 'Coolie'. Would make my friends play the role of Zafar and shoot me with a plastic play gun and I would play the part of Iqbal. Yup, I learnt very early in my life that god made only one Amitabh Bachchan. Happy second birthday Pa. You are my inspiration."
