Amitabh Bachchan lauds K.Bhagyaraj

Legendary filmmaker K.Bhagyaraj is celebrated as one of the most talented screenplay writers in Indian cinema and every director or star including Shankar, Mani Ratnam, Rajini, Kamal, Chiranjeevi and Vijay have acknowledged him.

Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan has posted on his social media thank you and my gratitude .. it was a great experience and a wonderful story .. K Bhagyaraj, new to me but so effective in his direction ... This is to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of 'Aakhree Raasta' that the duo made in 1986. The super hit film is the remake of 'Oru Kaithiyin Diary' written by Bhagyaraj and directed by Bharathiraja that had Kamal Haasan in dual roles costarring Radha and Revathi.

K.Bhagyaraj made small changes to the script of 'Aakhree Raasta' to suit the image of Amitabh Bachahan with Sridevi and Jayapradha playing his leading ladies.
