ItÂs surprising, yet not new! Big B had done it before, now he is doing it again.
The 65-plus actor will be featured as a hubby to the much younger actress in Pritish NandyÂs movie ÂThe ActorÂ. Amitabh Bachchan plays the title character as Ashmit Bhargava who is a top star and the movie is said to be based on the actorÂs life.
However, the movie wonÂt be solely based on the pairÂs relationship. ÂThe age factor is of no consequence to the plot, said Nandy, ÂIt wonÂt even be mentioned in passing, theyÂre just a happy couple.Â
ÂThe Actor is directed by Kushan Nandy (Pritish NandyÂs son) and is produced by Pritish Nandy Communications.
Tabu (Cheeni Kum), Jiah Khan (Nishabdh) and now Lara. Lucky old dude, we say, to share the screen with young choris of the town at this age!
