Prabhas' movie with 'Mahanati' director Nag Ashwin has finally gone on the floors after more than a year of being in the pre-production stage. It was planned to hit the floors earlier this year. But the director and his team were learning a lot of technical things on the job. That's why the take-off was delayed.
In the first schedule, which began today at the famous Ramoji Film City, scenes involving Amitabh Bachchan will be filmed. Big B is playing an integral character in the pan-India film, which has Deepika Padukone as the heroine.
In an interview last year, Nag Ashwin even said that the title of the movie was once planned to be about Big B's character. So, his is not a small role by any stretch of the imagination.
In his tweet about the movie, without mentioning the project's name, the Bollywood legend said that it's going to be a new beginning with a new environment. 'New never fades, it grows exponentially,' he wrote.
Produced by C Aswini Dutty on a massive budget, the pan-India flick is currently being shot on a special set erected for the purpose of the first schedule. Prabhas is not going to take part in it.
