Amitabh Bachchan's 'Jhund' bowls over Dhanush

The Bollywood film 'Jhund' is set to hit the screens on March 4. The sports biographical drama, which is directed by Nagraj Manjule, has been premiered for the media and several celebrities over the past few days.

The news is that actor Dhanush has lavished praises on the movie and its director. The 'Jagame Thandhiram' actor said that he is bowled over by the performance of its actors. He also gave a pat on the back of the director's filmmaking skills, adding that the realistic portrayal of the slum-dwelling community left him speechless.

The film has Big B as a retired school teacher who trains underdogs in a slum in the game of football. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, Raaj Hiremath, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Meenu Aroraa and Sandeep Singh, the film's worldwide release is by Zee Studios. At nearly 170 minutes (excluding titles), the film makes an effective use of the sport of football.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is doing 'SIR' in Telugu. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is titled 'Vaathi' in Tamil.
