Here's how Amitabh Bachchan is helping out amidst the Covid crisis

To do his part in the battle agaisnt Covid-19, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has donated 2 crore rupees to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Covid care center at Rakab Ganj Gurudwara in New Delhi. The facility is set start operating from 10th of May. The president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee Manjinder Singh Sirsa shared the news through his Twitter account.
He wrote, "Sikhs are Legendary, Salute To Their Service'. These were the words of Amitabh Bachchan when he contributed Rs 2 crore to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Facility. While Delhi was grappling for Oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this Facility."
Mr Bachchan also used his position to make an international appeal through the Vax Live global charity event to help people of India amidst this crisis. In a video he shared on Twitter, Big B said, "Namaskar, this is Amitabh Bachchan. My country India is battling with the sudden surge of the second wave of Covid 19. As a global citizen I appeal to all global citizens to rise up, speak to your governments, pharmaceutical companies and ask them to donate, to give, to extend a helping hand, to the public that needs it the most. Every effort counts. As Mahatma Gandhiji said: 'In a gentle way you can shake the world'. thank you.
