Popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most successful and longest running programs of Indian television and apart from that, it is an integral part of Amitabh Bachchan's career as well. Although Amit Ji's name is now synonymous with KBC but it wasn't like this at the beginning. The megastar was compelled to do the show at a very low point of his career and in the latest episode, he got emotional recalling the start of his 21 year long stint with it.

For the 1000th episode of KBC, Mr Bachchan was joined by his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. When Shweta asked to share his feelings on filming 1000th episode of the show, Big B shared a really heartfelt message about his KBC journey.

He said, "It has been 21 years since we began the show in 2000. At that time, I had no idea what would happen. People would warn me that moving from the big screen to the small screen would harm my career. But circumstances compelled me to take this on. You see, I wasn’t getting any films at that time, but after the show premiered, the kind of reactions I received made me believe that the world was with me."
