Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Farhan will be seen essaying the role of an ATS Cop in the film. Playing a cop for the first time, Farhan has gone through a physical change for his character as it required him to be lean and at the same time muscular. He is also sporting a moustache and has been receiving a positive response for his new avatar.

As the title denotes, 'Wazir' is about a chess player. The story revolves around Big B's character, who is a disabled former chess champion.
