There has been alot of buzz over Farhan Akhtar singing in his upcoming release 'Wazir', and yes the news is right! The recent gossip is that his co-star and iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan will also sing along with Farhan. The duo are to sing a duet for a promotional track in 'Wazir'.

The song in question will feature in the end credits of the film and is titled as 'Atrangi Yaari'. To reveal some more secrets about the movie is, that it was producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra's idea to make them sing together. The particular track is the crux of the film and is based on unusual friendships, which is basically the theme of 'Wazir'. Farhan and Amitabh have discussed the song and are excited about the duet. They are equally excited about the attempt and the duo is known to share a bond off screen too. They known to catch up with each other via social media at odd hours. It was later revealed that, Farhan also addresses Amitabh Bachchan by his characters name Pandit Ji` off screen. All this seems like they are really close!

The song 'Atrangi Yaari' has been pened by Gurpreet Saini and Deepak Ramola with Rochak Kohli as the composer. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Wazir' is an action drama which will mark to be the first time that Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar will be seen sharing screen space. It is directed by Bejoy Nambiar who also made Shaitan`, David`. Wazir` is set to release on 8th January next year.
