Amitabh Bachchan expresses gratitude after City of Wroclaw named a square after his late father.

City Council of the city of Wroclaw has recently named a square after actor Amitabh Bachchan's late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan who is regarded as one of the greatest Hindi poets of all time. Big B showed his happiness and gratitude through a recent post on Instagram.

Mr Bachchan shared a picture of a street sign that stated the name of a square as 'Harivansh Rai Bachchan'. He wrote, “The City Council of the City of Wroclaw, Poland has decided to name a Square after my Father .. there could not have been a more apt blessing on Dushhera than this .. a moment of extreme pride for the family, for the Indian community in Wroclaw .. and India .. JAI HIND.”

Although this isn't the first time that Wroclaw has paid tribute to Mr Harivansh Rai Bachchan. A few months earlier, Amitabh Bachchan was overwhelmed with emotions when his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s popular poem Madhushala was recited by the students of the University of Wroclaw in Poland.
