After Mohanlal confirmed about his prestigious movie Randamoozham, an onscreen adaptation of M T Vasudevan Nair's acclaimed novel on the same name, it has been rumoured that Amitabh Bachchan would play an important role in this epic movie.

And now, the movie's director Sreekumar has officially confirmed that Big B has been finalised for a very powerful role in Randamoozham. Reportedly, Big B will be doing the role of Bhishma in Randamoozham, while Mohanlal will essaying the role of Bhima.

It would definitely be exciting to see Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan sharing the screen space for the thrid time after Ram Gopal Varma`s Bollywood film Aag and Malayalam film Kandahar, directed by Major Ravi. The rest of the movie's cast hasn't been finalised yet, an official announcement on the same will be revealed soon.

Touted to be a multilingual movie shot in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages, Randamoozham is apparently being made on a budget of Rs 500 crores and will be released in two parts. The movie is expected to start rolling next year.
