Kajol will be seen rocking after 3 long years in a never-seen before avatar as Eela in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Helicopter Eela’. She will be playing the role of a single parent to a college-going son, Riddhi Sen. With the release of quirky posters, trailer and now the first song titled ‘Mumma Ki Parchai”, the makers have stirred up the excitement to its peak.

Looks like this tease isn’t enough, so now the director has revealed another interesting piece of information that will urge you to watch the film immediately. Guess what? Yes, you almost got it! The one and only Amitabh Bachchan is set to make a special appearance in ‘Helicopter Eela’. According to a recent report, director Pradeep Sarkar stated, "There is a particular scene for which we needed him, so we requested him to play this part. It is an important scene and Mr Bachchan agreed to do this since he has worked with me before and is also close to Ajay and Kajol. Since he is playing a cameo, we had to plan everything in advance." Woah! Doesn’t it seem like the film is going to be a super-duper hit?

Big B and Kajol have shared the screen space together in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’s song “Rock N Roll Soniye”. And the actor has also worked with Pradeep in films ‘Parineeta’ and ‘Eklavya’. In Parineeta, Amitabh had given a voice-over.

Written by Mitesh Shah, ‘Helicopter Eela’ is based on Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play ‘Beta Kaagdo’ and has Neha Dhupia also in the important role. The film is all slated to hit the screens on September 7, 2018.
