Amit Shah on Sushant Singh's death: 'Unnatural death needs investigation'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that he is not sure whether the Sushant Singh Rajput death case is a political issue on the ground. The BJP leader made the remark in his interview with Network 18.

He said that BJP can't be held responsible if the actor's death has indeed become a political issue ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. Shah added that any unnatural death should be investigated. The HM reminded the interviewer that it was the Supreme Court that wanted a CBI probe into the death of the 34-year-old actor.

Shah also opened up on the drugs menace. He said that several changes made by the Modi government will ensure that drug peddling will be very difficult in the country soon.
