3 Idiots` actor Amir Khan and his wife are suffering from a viral flu and because of that he and his wife will not be attending the Paani` event that`s going to be held in Pune.

As he didn`t want to disappoint his fans and wants to keep his word, he will be sending his best friend to attend the event, who has just as goodwill as Amir.

On a Skype call to his fans, that was live-streamed, the actor was seen making a statement saying

“As we all know this flu is quite a critical one and is pretty contagious. So, me and my wife have decided to not attend the event as we will be taking rest. However, my friend, Shah Rukh will be attending the event on behalf of me and take care of the things from there in Pune” he noted.

Hopefully, the actor will heal soon and gets back to good health!
