In the trailer for ‘Amigos’, a worried mother says that it is a bad omen if we bump into someone who looks just like us. And there are not two but three lookalikes in the story. They are doppelgangers, not friends or brothers. One of them is a monster.

Add the NIA which is mighty afraid of the consequences of the monster and you have an action thriller of breathtaking proportions. That's 'Amigos' for you... The film hits the screens on February 10.

The fight choreography by Venkat and Ram Kishan is expected to be the USP of the second half. The use of VFX to create a make-believe world is laudable. The three lookalikes are there not just in action scenes but also in light-veined ones, involving the heroine (debutante Ashika Ranganath).

The film, directed by debutant Rajendra Reddy, is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers.

Ghibran and Soundar Rajan S are its music director and cinematographer, respectively. Avinash Kolla is its production designer. Tammiraju and Shobi have been roped in for the editing and choreography departments.
