American rapper T-Pain’s latest single “That’s Yo Money” has been taken down from YouTube on copyright grounds, after the singer was accused of plagiarism by the director of Aashiqui 2, and the music composer of the popular Bollywood song “Tum Hi Ho,” the tunes of which he had used in his album.

Aashiqui 2’s director Mohit Suri brought this to everyone’s attention on Twitter after noticing it first. The music director of Tum Hi Ho, Mithoon, joined him soon after in calling out the rapper.

T-Series, who own the rights to Tum Hi Ho, made a copyright infringement complaint, following which the song was taken off YouTube. It is still available in some forums, regardless.

The rapper, on Saturday, responded to their tweets addressing the Indians as “brown twitter,” claiming he hadn’t produced the song, and that he got the beat from a producer. He added that he had never heard the music before. His remark sparked a controversy among the Indian crowd on Twitter.
