Known for his outspoken approach, Ameer is at it again. The actor-director, while speaking at the audio launch function of 'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathiley' in Chennai on Wednesday, said "Those who are currently not making films are creating problems for others".
Ameer said this in reference to the ongoing strike in Kollywood, thanks to the conflict over wages between Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and Film Employees of Federation of South India (FEFSI).
"Those who are willing to produce movies are ready to do so. And film employees are keen to work. But those who are not involved in film trade are creating troubles. The issue could be solved in just one hour, if talks are properly held," Ameer said.
Others took part in the event include Cheran, Vimal, Shanthanu and Prithviraj. Produced by C H Mayuri Sekar on Sri Lakshmi Narasimmha Creations banner, 'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathiley', directed by Narayan Narendrarao, has Aari and Subha in lead roles.
