Ambi helps Raghu

Veteran director of Kannada cinema AT Raghu is ailing and the Danashoora Karna of Kannada cinema Ambrish has come to help financially for the director who gave a few hits in his career.

Ambarish on his own contributed Rs.50000 to AT Raghu and allocated Rs.50000 more from the Producers Association of Kannada cinema.

Ambarish coming to help is not the first time. Director and producer AT Raghu has nearly 20 films to his credit. Ambarish had acted in Arjun, Mandyadha Gandu, Mysore Jaana, Betegaara and others.

Sixty two years AT Raghu entered the cinema industry in the camp of B Vittalacharaya in 1955 via Tamil film industry. He came to Kannada cinema industry in 70’s as assistant to YR Swamy. AT Raghu directed ‘Nyaya Nithi Dharma’ independently. He has more than 35 films to his credit as director.

AT Raghu is the winner of SR Puttanna Kanagal award in the year 2004-2005 from Karnataka state government.
