At his home town in Mandya Dr Ambarish, pride of Kannada filmdom and Karnataka Housing Minister was emotional for the rousing welcome he got on Saturday afternoon.

The first visit of Dr Ambarish after rebirth of 50 days battle for life at Bengaluru and Singapore obviously resulted in huge turnout. People waited from morning 11 to 1.30 pm to take a look at Dr Ambarish.

The cultural band of Dollu Kunitha, Hulivesha and other forms of art plus fans roar was at peak.

At the entrance the motorbike and auto rickshaws with Dr Ambarish photographs was noticed. In Somanahalli, Kesthur gate, Shivapura, Maddur, Gejjelagere, Hanakere road Dr Ambarish was greeted.

At the residence of Amaravathi Chandrasekhar the ‘Arathi’ from Ramya welcomed the legendary personality.

Later speaking to media Dr Ambarish he is ready to die if anyone proves that I have told my followers to work against Ramya. As district in charge and my nature is that I do not fear for anyone. Had I disliked Ramya, I would not have come to Mandya today. I am a congress man and it is my bounded duty to see that Ramya wins elections in 2014 LS replied Dr Ambarish setting all rumors aside.
