The former union minister and actor of over 200 films, the President of Kannada cinema Artists Association Ambarish is dreaming about becoming a chief minister in the coming years. He has a strong clout in Congress-I despite of losing Assembly elections last time. The fan following for Ambarish has never dipped.

He has given nod to 'Swayamkrishi' Kannada film in the direction of Veerendra Babu after a long wait and now he has accepted to become chief minister for another Kannada film 'Vajra'. The admirers of Ambarish from Mandya are producing this film 'Vajra'. One song in the film 'Vajra' showcases the dream of Ambarish in real life-becoming chief minister of Karnataka state. For 'Vajra' Arjun Siddhu is the director. Balasubramanya a realtor is introducing his son Vijay as hero in the film. Ambarish is like 'Vajra' (diamond) very precious says director Arjun Siddhu.
