American actor Johnny Depp's ex-wife Amber Heard has claimed that the actor had threatened to kill her several times during their marriage.

A few days ago, the Pirates of Carribean actor had submitted pictures of him lying on a stretcher with a severed fingertip to a British court. The actor had alleged that his condition was a result of physical assault by his then-wife Amber Heard. Regarding the incident, the actor claimed, "Amber severed my finger with the second of two thrown vodka bottles at me in the early afternoon of Sunday 8 March. Amber claims this was on the second day of a 'three-day hostage situation.' Amber claims that during these three days, I subjected her to a variety of what sounds like torture and other abuse. These sick claims are completely untrue."

However, in a recent statement, Amber Heard has claimed that Johnny Depp had pushed her against a bar by her neck after which Depp's finger was severed. Recalling the incident, she mentioned, "Glass was broken everywhere, on the floor and the countertop. At some point he pulled me around by my neck and pushed me down against the bar, I was against the bar, naked, bent over backwards, my back against the marble. He was pressing so hard on my neck I couldn't breathe. I was trying to tell him that I couldn't breathe. I remember thinking he was going to kill me in that moment. The floor was wet and I was slipping, I couldn't get a purchase and I was kicking my feet trying to stand up, but nothing was catching. I was using my forearms to try to raise myself up and cutting myself on the broken glass on the counter."

Further adding that she had pleaded with him to stop hurting her, Amber stated, "I remember pleading with Johnny saying he was hurting and cutting me and asked him to let me up. He ignored me, continuing to hit me with the back of one closed hand. He was screaming at me, over and over again, 'you ruined my life, I hate you, I'm going to f**king kill you and I'll f**k your corpse'. He said it so loud and over and over: 'I am going to fu**ing kill you'. I really thought I might die."
