Ambedkar or YSR, he can play anybody: Mahi

A day after confirming that Mammootty will be playing YS Rajasekhar Reddy in 'Yatra', director Mahi V Raghav has said that only the Mollywood star can pull off the role.
He is very particular about giving his cent percent. In the film 'Swathi Kiranam', a dubbed drama, he dubbed for his character himself. He’s very meticulous. And his aura is larger-than-life. In 'Thalapathy', he stood tall despite the presence of Superstar Rajinikanth. Earlier in his career, he has pulled off the role of BR Ambedkar, for which he even earned the National Award. I believe nothing is impossible for him, Mahi says.
About YSR, Mahi says, He wanted to leave a footprint in history. Instead, he left one in the hearts of people.
Till the other day, there were rumours that Nayanthara has been roped in to play Vijayamma, the wife of YS, in the biopic. Mahi has refuted them. He has also said that there is no truth in the gossip that Kollywood star Suriya will play YS Jagan. Scripting is almost done. The film will be bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy.
