On Saturday, former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu made a fervent appeal to Telangana Industry and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Twitter regarding the Hyderabad Cricket Association. "Sir, I request you to please look into and address the rampant corruption prevailing in HCA. How can Hyderabad be great when its cricket team is influenced by money and corrupt people who have numerous ACB cases against them which are being swept under the carpet?" Rayudu asked.
After this, former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin said that Rayudu is a "frustrated cricketer", a description that didn't go down well with the youngster.
Taking to Twitter once again, Rayudu told Azhar, "Let's not make it personal. The issue is bigger than us. We both know what is going on in HCA. You have a God-given opportunity to clean up the HCA. I strongly urge you to isolate yourself from the seasoned crooks. You will be saving generations of future cricketers."
