Dr Ambarish and wife Sumalatha are brimming with happiness as the one and only son Abhishekh 6 feet and 4 inches tallest actor is making debut from ‘Amar’. The muhurut was shot on Abhishekh and Tanya Hope in front of Lord Venkateshwara statue at JP Nagar in Bengaluru on auspicious day May 28.
Later speaking to media persons Dr Ambarish stated that he does not have any advice to his son Abhishek. ‘You be a director actor and don’t go to sets late like me’. My son is groomed by my wife Sumalatha. Dr Ambarish wish to his son is like to any first time actor who comes for blessings to him. For me all children are same. I want all them to shine he said. For director Nagashekhar I do not make any advice. I am not here to direct a director. When it comes to acting and struggle for good performance no clout counts Dr Ambarish remarked.
Asked on his days in 1972 with doyen director Puttanna Kanagal in Nagarahavu debut of Dr Vishnuvardhana, Ambarish said first day he went late to shoot. I had stitched a story to tell Puttannaji as tire got punctured to reach the shooting spot. For the Tamil assistant at that time Puttannaji said ‘Naa Kathe Edakke Vandirke, Kekke Vandille’ was a statement.
Dr Ambarish came before the camera puffing cigarette at the age of 19 but his son is well prepared in martial arts, acting course etc. The youths of today prepare well and come to face camera he opined.
