Amazon gave deep discounts on Prime Day by accident

Earlier this week, Amazon had a Prime Day season. A range of camera gear/lenses were sold at deep discounts. To give a glimpse of how deep and incredible the discounts were, high-end camera gear bundles worth as high as $13,000 and $5,000 were sold for just $94.48.
As per some latest reports, it may have been a pricing error on the part of the e-commerce giant that such astronomically low prices were put up. By the time the error could be correct, thousands of orders were received. Keeping with its brand image and marketing principles, the company is honouring all the orders. Cameras of big brands like Canon worth a fortune have been shipped as ordered by the customers!
"Soooo Amazon had a huge pricing error when Prime Day started last night. Every single camera was on sale for $94.50, including $3000 Canons. Most will obviously get canceled but some people have already gotten theirs delivered today. The schadenfreude is incredible," a Twitter user said.
