The title for the film was changed quite often. It was ‘Jaleela’ – screen name of Ambarish in ‘Nagarahavu’. ‘Thirugubaana’ successful film of Dr Ambarish was suggested. Now the finalized title is ‘Amar’. This title is also interesting because Ambarish original name is ‘Amarnath’ – he has acted in ‘Hongkongnalli Agent Amar’ Kannada cinema in the past. Ambarish was in the title role of ‘Amarnath’ also in his career of over 200 films.

Chetan Kumar of Bahaddur and Bharjari is heading the megaphone. Sandesh Nagaraj best friend of Ambarish is producer. The film is set to go on floor in March this year.
