'Amar Akbar Anthony' Trailer Review: Capitalising on comedy, again!

For yet another time, Sreenu Vaitla has a large cast at his service. Ravi Teja, seen in three shades, is joined by a contingent of comedians, who are ready to be exploited by him. As it is, Vaitla's heroes are known for making bakras out of comedians when they are playing just one shade. Here, you have three shades. And it's Mass Maharaja who is the protagonist. So, you can imagine.
Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Satya and Srinivas Reddy get to share the screen space with the hero, while there is a violent 'Mother Teresa' to add to the entertainment quotient. Ileana D'Cruz, for all we know, has some idiosyncrasies.
Throw in a betrayal and a payback time in the US, you have a potboiler.
A problem with the Trailer is that there are too many quick shots. It's a bit unsettling for sure.
Should the film leverage Ravi Teja's comic timing (he can practically strike cool chemistry with almost every single comedian) to the maximum, Mythri Movie Makers might well laugh its way to the bank.
Tarun Arora, Aditya Menon, Abhimamyu Singh, and Vikramjit are expected to have serious roles. The cast also includes Raghu Babu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Tanikella Bharani, Ravi Prakash, Rajveer Singh, Shiyaji Shinde, Subhalekha Sudhakar and others.
SS Thaman's music, Venkat C Dileep's cinematography and AS Prakash's art direction should be among the highlights. Director Sreenu Vaitla has co-written the story with Vamsi Rajesh Kondaveeti, while the screenplay and dialogues are by himself.
The hero says 'I am strong, you are strong.. We all strong' in the end. We have to wait till November 16 to discover if Vaitla still has the box-office strength.
