'Amar Akbar Anthony', starring Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz, will be shot in the US from the first week of August. This long schedule will go on till almost mid-September. It will see the canning of the film's key sequences, including scenes of all genres!

The much-reviled Sreenu Vaitla, who has given back-to-back flops, is betting big on ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. Starring Ravi Teja in an out-and-out comedic role, it has Ileana romancing the hero in a meaty role. The director has proudly said that the film has got many layers and that it's ahead in terms of creativity!

Comedian-turned-hero Sunil will be seen in a full-fledged role, while yesteryear heroine Laya, her daughter Shloka, are also part of the cast. Ravi Teja’s son Mahadhan will have a "superb role".

The story is by Vaitla and Vamsi Rajesh Kondaveeti. Screenplay and dialogues are by the director himself. Music is by Thaman. Vijay C Dileep is the cinematographer.

'Amar Akbar Anthony' will hit the screens in October, during Dasara.
