Amala Paul to play this role for the first time in Indian cinema

Amala Paul, who was last seen in the blockbuster hit Ratsasan, has been riding high on its success. She is currently working on her upcoming projects, “Adho Andha Paravai Pola” and “Aadai,” where she will be seen portraying the lead role.

Meanwhile, Amala Paul has signed an untitled film, which will not just be the first time in her career, but for the first time in the Indian film industry, where she will be seen playing the role of a forensic surgeon. The film, which is based on real-life events, revolves around her maverick and her unique methods to solve a mysterious case. The director and the scriptwriter have spent nearly 6 months researching the story, according to reports.

Produced by AJ Films in association with White Screen Media, the movie is directed by debutant Anoop Panicker. The shooting is scheduled to commence from March 2019 and the entire project will be filmed in Chennai and Coimbatore, apparently.
