It is a trend among music directors to make use of the actors' voice for their songs. Gopi Sunder is one such director who had tried it. Ratheesh Vega, the newgen music director is also not different. He made use of Mohanlal's voice to deliver an evergreen melody “Attumanal Payayil” in Malayalam for the film Run Baby Run' which had Amala Paul as the heroine.

In Aadupuliyattam' he used the voice of Jayaram and Mamata Mohandas for a song. The latest is Amala Paul in the line to sing a song for the film “Achayyans”. She will be singing a fast upbeat number for the film. The film is directed by Kannan Thamarakulam.

Actor Prakash Raj will be singing a folk song for this film. It seems that Ratheesh Vega is not missing any option to use an actor's voice in his films.
